Bozal Cempasuchil Reserva Mezcal

• Distiller: Marcelino Ortiz
• ABV: 47% ABV
• Age: NAS
• Mashbill: 100% Espadin agave

A seasonal offering from Bozal that adds marigold flowers and mandarin peels directly to the still between the first and second rounds of distillation. Classic mezcal smokiness takes the backseat, while a heaping mason jar of marmalade, guava and lavender flavor rides up front. The rare high-end mezcal that I'd recommend to just about anybody. - Pedro
